Hattrick Organizer (HO!) Help files
Basic and Tech
1.) Where can i get the latest Hattrick Organizer release?
You can always find the latest HO on our
Website.
The files are hosted at
Sourceforge, so you can get them also from there.
The famous German HT fansite
ht-links.de provides another mirror.
4.) How can I
update to a new HO version without losing my data?
8.) I have MacOS 10.3.9 and can't use the latest HO because it needs Java5, what to do?
The latest version for Java 1.4 is a
special HO 1.424 edition.
It works so far, but of course without the latest bugfixes and without new features.
9.) I made a new HO installation, but on the first start I get a "database in use" error message, what's wrong?
When running Windows Vista or Windows 7 make sure to have full Administrator permissions or don't install HO in a folder below "C:\Program files".
These operating systems need special permissions in the Program files folder, you can avoid the hassle if you choose another folder (e.g. C:\HattrickOrganizer).
10.) I'm on Linux and everything works fine. But after downloading the latest data from HT, I get an "HRF corrupt" error message?
Make sure to save the HRF in a folder where you have write permissions. The root folder is usually not ok.
11.) When starting the latest HO! I get the error message "Could not find the main class. Program will exit!"
Please check your installed
Java version. HO 1.425 needs at least Java5 (JDK 1.5).
Players and Matches
2.) I want to
test a new player in my team before buying him, how? (Transferscout instruction)
4.) The age of all my players is wrong in HO, what can I do?
Check the clock on your Computer, it's probably not correct.
5.) I lost all my data, how can i get my old matches back into HO?
In the lower right part of the normal download dialog, you can tell HO to load
all matches for a certain recent season.
