My HO! got slow over the years, what can I do?
After some time, HO! can get quite slow if you use it alot, especially on slower machines. The 2 main reasons are:
1.) the pure database size - HO loads it completely upon start and writes it completely if you exit the application
2.) the amount of HRF datasets which are created on each download - the more HRF datasets you have, the more calculations are done
To reduce the database size without losing any of your teams data, you should delete all matches, that don't include your team. If you regularly use the TeamAnalyzer, you will have plenty of those matches. Go to the matches page (F4) and choose "Show other teams' matches" from the top left combobox. The list will look like this:

You can select multiple matches here, for instance by holding Shift or Ctrl while klicking with the mouse. You can even press Ctrl+A to select all those matches. After your selection is complete, you can now press the delete button. It's the 2nd button at the bottom there, which looks like a big X. HO! asks again, if you really want to delete those matches:

After you clean up your matches, the next HO start should be much quicker. If you want to delete many matches, it's advised to do this in "blocks" - select not more than 20 and delete them, select the next 20 and delete them...
If you want to reduce the amount of HRF datasets, you should use the optional HRF Explorer plugin, which you can get using the inbuilt HO! plugin update. In theory, you can also use the list at the Squad view to delete unnecessary datasets, but the HRF Explorer gives you a better overview:

Click through the calendar view and if you find two HRF downloads for the same week, you can probably delete one of them. Be sure to know what you delete, because you cannot get back these data after deletion, except if you still have the original HRF file stored.
